Sofia is a Talent Development Strategist, Workplace Behavior Expert, Human Resources Leader, Communications and Media Consultant, and a Business Coach. She has over 17 years of experience in talent development and optimization, human capital management, learning and organizational development, executive coaching, leadership development, change management, career coaching, and full cycle talent management application. She enjoys working collaboratively with her clients to solve business problems, build organizational capability and improve business and people performance. Sofia specializes in facilitation to support individuals, teams and organizations through times of change, and is passionate about aligning neuroscience and people development to organizational business strategies, purpose and values. She is an experienced Executive Coach committed to leadership development and talent growth.
Education includes a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters degree in Instructional Technology, and doctoral studies in Educational Psychology and Technology from USC. She also has a certification in Mediating the Litigated Case from Pepperdine University’s School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, and training from Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE). Sofia has a Brain-Based coaching certification from the NeuroLeadership Institute and is a certified facilitator in the Reach METHOD. She has served on public and private boards and is a speaker at conferences, management retreats and a contributor at business seminars.
